Hiking and Camping

Visitors are free to explore Korup National Park on foot, using a well developed and maintained trail network of 115 Km. three self-catering tourist camps are located within easy reach of the Park entrance – Iriba Inene Camp, Rengo Camp and Chimpanzee Camp. All of the camps provide fresh, clean drinking water and natural bathing points, as well as screened sleeping accommodation, a kitchen and pit latrine. A variety of outstanding natural features can be visited from the camps, including Mana Waterfall, Rengo Rock, Bat Cave, Big Boulder and Namata Lodges.

With more than 400 species in 64 different families, Korup national Park is truly a birding paradise. The star attraction is without doubt the Rockfowl, one of the most difficult birds in the world to see,
